HISTORY-Kit Kat Alley Rescue is a feline only rescue located in Hohenwald, Tennessee. It was established on March 18, 2018, as a volunteer rescue. It was later registered as a nonprofit 501c3, veteran operated rescue on August 22,2022. From the year 2022 to present, we have fixed and vaccinated 224 cats. From Year 2023 to present, we have transported 184 cats to our clinics as well as had 25 cat adoptions to successful homes. In addition to our growing success, we were also able to feed 650 community cats in 2023. B.MISSION AND GOALS-Our mission is to rescue cats and kittens from the Lewis County Tennessee area, including the unwanted feral population through our transport, spay and neuter programs with rescue on a case-by-case basis. These cats come from being dumped, neglected, abused, or injured. We have 11 cats onsite but can house 20. We also have 7 cats in foster homes. They are all fixed and vaccinated prior to adoption. Our goal for the next 5 years is to fix 365 cats and to have 100 successful cat adoptions every year.
