Jameson Humane is an animal welfare organization in California’s Napa Valley. Our program model includes a variety of novel solutions to benefit animals in Northern California and across the country. These programs are driven by education, prevention, and intervention. 

1. Animal Rescue, Foster, Adoption, and Fospice: We operate a no-kill rescue dedicated to finding the perfect forever homes for animals in need. As we move forward, this program will focus almost exclusively on cats and will be located at Ella’s Cathouse, our location in Napa, CA. 
2. Low-Cost/No-Cost Community Clinics and Spay/Neuter: Through our Mobile Veterinary Unit, Jameson Humane supports guardians seeking low-cost spay/neuter and veterinary assistance. This work is concentrated in Napa, Sonoma, Solano, Mendocino, and Lake Counties to help stem the tide of overpopulation, unwanted animals, and overflowing shelters. These services support pet owners, local shelters, and animal welfare partners. 
3. The Roth Family Foundation’s Community Animal Assistance Program (CAAP): CAAP keeps animals with their owners by supporting individual needs through CAAP “grants” provided for specific purposes. Every year, we ensure thousands of humans and animals can stay together by providing support for emergency medical care, spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, behavioral training, landlord-required pet deposits, temporary foster, and more.
4. Andy and Betty Beckstoffer Community Pet Pantry: The Napa Community Pet Pantry provides pet food and supplies, including leashes, collars, beds, crates, litter pans, cat trees, and ramps. The Pet Pantry collaborates with local food distribution events to serve those with the most need and keep people and pets together. 
5. Disaster Preparedness, Response, and Reunification: As a community leader in disaster preparedness and response, Jameson Humane provides essential support and resources to help animal owners before, during, and after disasters. We hold microchipping clinics to increase community preparedness; microchips provide essential information that helps reunite pets and owners when separated. When a disaster occurs, Jameson Humane works with CAL Fire, law enforcement, Community Emergency Response Teams (CERTs), and Community Animal Response Teams (CARTs). Once a disaster has resolved, we assist with reunification. Jameson Humane has also been selected by the Sonoma County District Attorney’s Office to manage the multi-year Sonoma County Animal Disaster Grant resulting from a settlement between the county and PG&E. We were selected for this task as a result of our consistent track record of helping our community during wildfires and other disasters.
