Indigenous Health Solutions is an inclusive development organization taking a trans-disciplinary, planetary health approach to service. We seek to promote the well being of remote and indigenous people, animals, and ecosystems, using community-led solutions that address the intertwined social, economic and ecological determinants of health. Our current work is with very remote communities in Papua New Guinea, providing basic health services, livelihood enhancement, and education, and in Ladakh, India in partnership with Chamba Animal Centre, providing compassionate care for feral Ladakhi Bakarwal dogs in the Trans Himalayan Cold Desert, with the objective of protecting the endangered snow leopard and its delicate ecosystem.
