We proudly work as a sanctuary, following the state goal of “NO KILL South Carolina”

Our work is based on the belief that all animals deserve to be treated with respect and compassion.  We work to achieve this goal by providing food, shelter, and medical care to animals in need; supporting the improvement of animal welfare laws, and educating the public about the importance of respecting animals.  One of the most important services we provide is affordable spay and neuter to McCormick County cats and dogs.  We also offer free trap-neuter or spay-and return (TNR) for outside un-owned cats.

Because we are small, every volunteer plays a critical role in daily operations.
