Hero Labradors is a Texas-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that purpose-breeds and raises Labrador Retrievers for service dog organizations. Through its "Before the Vest" philosophy, the organization focuses on producing healthy, well-socialized puppies with the genetics, early development, and foundation needed to become exceptional service dogs. The puppies are provided at no cost to qualified training programs, where they go on to serve veterans, first responders, children, and others living with disabilities.
