Geelong Miniature Railway is made up of ex servicemen and general public who are all miniature railway enthusiasts who have come together to support PTSD among members, The Charity members teach one another trade based skills, as we work together to build Geelong's first passenger carrying miniature railway and community park. The project will offer families a cheap days outing in a safe environment, were interested community members can become project volunteers. The charities members will construct all the components and infrastructure needed for the project over several stages, with an emphasis on teaching local youth trade base and engineering skills, with the hope of the youth entering a trade based field of employment. The project is about uniting communities bring people together to learn and teach one another while working together to build a unique community project, nothing like any other in Australial.
