The Grief Centre is a charitable trust that was established in 2009. Our mission is to provide transformative support through all forms of grief and loss for adults, children, families and whanau; as well as education and training to health professionals and groups, who are supporting others in their communities. Our services include counselling, bereavement support groups, specialist booklets for children and adults in the immediate period after facing a loss, other resources on grief and loss, community talks and professional development training. Any support we receive helps provide subsidised counselling and specialised grief booklets for children and families in need.
