Our mission is to fosters lifelong excitement, scientific understanding, and stewardship of our coasts and ocean by providing quality marine oriented programs that promote science, education, and adventure for youth. In 1997, a group of local teachers, scientists, and resource managers from marine science and education organizations around Monterey Bay came together to fill a perceived need for marine science education in our schools. They developed a plan for a residential marine science program to capitalize on the unique natural and institutional resources of our region. Today Camp SEA Lab fosters lifelong excitement, scientific understanding, and stewardship of our coasts and ocean by providing quality marine-oriented programs that promote science, education, and adventure for youth. Located in Monterey Bay, California, Camp SEA Lab offers high-quality outdoor school and summer camp programs to educate and inspire the next generation of ocean stewards.
