For the Love of Pits™, a not-for-profit run exclusively by volunteers, rescues and trains dogs that are identified by the public as "pit bull" type dogs, and places its adoptable pit bulls in responsible, loving homes prepared to make a lifetime commitment, educates the public regarding the truth about pit bull type dogs and canine communication and behavior, and supports "pit bull" owners in Northeast Ohio in ways that will keep the dogs in their homes. For the Love of Pits also advocates for the best interests of all dogs and the adoptions of homeless dogs into loving, forever homes committed to the dogs for its life.
