About us
Davy's TherAppy Farm provides a quiet relaxing environment for individuals of any age and all walks of life to benefit from "Appointments with Purpose" to interact with our animal therapists. Current residents consist of boer goats, Nigerian Dwarf/Pygmy goats, miniature horses, Chincoteague Ponies, potbelly pigs, a steer, bull calf, guinea pigs and our dog, Maggie Mae, the Keeper of the Farm. The primary goal is to give visitors a safe space to promote the rejuvenation of their overall well-being with improvements to mental, emotional, behavioral and physical health. There is no diagnosis requirement and we do not charge an entrance fee, although donations are always greatly appreciated! The farm is open year-round, run 100% by volunteers and donations, and is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
