Critterz is a non-profit Animal Charity in Bledsoe County, TN and is Committed to improving the lives of community cats. Critterz was formed in 2018 with the desire to provide every community cat in Bledsoe County with an environment where they have access to food, shelter from the elements, access to spay/neuter services and caretakers that support these basic needs. Bledsoe County has a human population of 12,876, no animal control services and has been designated as one of 15 distressed counties in the state of Tennessee. Animal populations have been multiplying unchecked for several years and travels to the nearest low cost spay/neuter facility takes a minimum of 45 minutes.  Critterz partners with local animal welfare organizations to either place adoptable individuals or return non-adoptable spayed/neutered and vaccinated animals to the community area.  Our main goal is spay/neuter but in the spring the kittens begin coming.  We take in litters of kittens and house them until they are ready to be neutered.  We then begin the process of finding loving homes for the babies.
