At Cat Protection, our vision is that every cat has a loving and responsible home.
We work with the community at all levels for the mutual benefit of cats, people and the natural environment.
We do this by finding loving and responsible homes for cats in need; improving the quality of life for cats by educating the community about socially and environmentally responsible cat care; actively working with government and non-government agencies to promote and improve cat welfare and honouring the unique relationship between people and cats.
Each year we rehome around 1,000 cats and kittens; assist with desexing a further 2,000 cats; provide information and advice on feline health, behaviour and welfare to more than 5,000 human clients; and reunite dozens of lost cats with their people.
As a charity, we rely on the generosity of our members, donors, bequestors and sponsors as well as the tireless efforts of our volunteers to provide the best possible care for the cats in our Adoption Centre and to continue promoting the welfare of felines everywhere.
