Beacons Furry FUNdation Society assists families and children facing difficult life challenges such as medical expenses, community enhancement and poverty. We work with Partners throughout the Central Okanagan region with a focus on West Kelowna/Westbank and neighbouring communities to identify families and children in the most need of our services. Our core initiatives help by lending a helping paw up to build the whole child, through our various programs. ​Through our 4 Key Focus Areas, Beacons Furry FUNdation Society aims to bridge the gap with families who are suffering financial difficulties with medical needs for a sick child and in children’s education so they can become secure, self-reliant, contributing members of their communities as adults.

The holidays are particularly stressful for families that don’t have enough.When you choose to support the Beacon the Elf Gives Back, your contribution is used to help low-income families with toys, stocking stuffers and grocery cards helping create a memorable holiday for families needing a helping paw up this holiday season. BEACONS BUDDIES GIVE ARTS PROGRAMBeacons Buddies Give Arts Program provides support for arts programs costs associated with lessons, participation fees, instruments, equipment and art supplies to children in need, giving them the opportunity to participate in music, dance, theatre and the visual arts.BEACON & FRIENDS HELPING DISHProvides premade frozen meals that just need heated up for families struggling to find healthy meals and time to cook amongst busy schedules. Many families including single parent and multiple parents are struggling to find time to prepare healthy meals with bust work and school schedules and need a helping paw up. Meals will include a simple line of easy heat meals including meatloaf, shepherds pie, lasagna, soups, just to name a few.
