UNICEF promotes the rights and wellbeing of every child, in everything it does.  Together with its partners, UNICEF work in 190 countries and territories to translate that commitment into practical action, focusing special effort on reaching the most vulnerable and excluded children, to the benefit of every child, everywhere. 

UNICEF supports child health and nutrition, good water and sanitation, quality basic education for all boys and girls, and the protection of children from violence, exploitation, and HIV/AIDS. UNICEF also responds to humanitarian emergencies. 

UNICEF is non-political and provides aid to children on a non-discriminatory basis based on need and has no religious, racial or political affiliations. UNICEF is funded entirely by the voluntary contributions of individuals, businesses, foundations and governments.
