The Steel Horse Rally Inc. is a non-profit charity dedicated to honoring all who serve including military, veterans, law enforcement and first responders. The SHR Inc. charity helps several local charities and restores civic pride by helping the local community. In less than 10 years, the annual Steel Horse Rally has grown into the largest event in the region with an attendance in 2023 of 210,000+ and a local economic impact of more than $24 Million. In addition to making donations to local charities, the Steel Horse Rally Inc. gives organizations a unique way to interact with the community and give veterans a way to get involved through volunteer opportunities. The Steel Horse Rally is the first weekend each May and includes a motorcycle parade under a large American flag, vendors, live music and entertainment, motorcycle rides and so much more.
