Disaster Relief Australia is a veteran led disaster relief organisation. We use the unique skills and experience of military veterans and emergency services specialists; our members, to respond to natural disasters in Australia and overseas. In doing so we bring hope to communities devastated by natural disasters and other emergencies, and we improve veterans’ wellbeing by giving them the opportunity to continue to serve and find purpose. In short, we help people on their worst days.

Since 2016, DRA has grown to over 2,500 volunteers with Disaster Relief Teams (DRTs) in every state and capital city in Australia. Recognising that disasters are increasing in both frequency and severity, DRA plans to triple our capacity to respond to disasters and help communities prepare for them.
