Council on the Ageing (WA) Inc
Council on the Ageing (COTA) WA was established in 1959 as the peak body for seniors in Western Australia.
COTA (WA) advocates on behalf of seniors in a number of ways including representation on many committees and advisory groups (including state and local government), running campaigns such as Elder Abuse Is Everyone's Business, holding forums and contributing to symposiums, roundtables or written submissions.
COTA (WA) supports seniors (directly and indirectly) through its programs such as Aged Care Navigation and Strength For Life which are designed specifically for older people.
Our vision is that Ageing is a time of possibility, opportunity and influence within an equitable, just and inclusive society in which the voices of older Western Australians are respected and strong.
Our purpose is to promote the rights, interests and good futures of Western Australians as they age.
Thank you for supporting COTA (WA) on behalf of older Western Australians. COTA (WA) is a registered charity and has Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status, so your donations are income tax deductible.
Community minded individuals and organisations are invited to support COTA (WA) in its advocacy and support of older Western Australians.
I do hope that you will help us to make a difference to the lives of older Western Australians by making a donation to COTA (WA) demonstrating your support for positive ageing in Western Australia.
