Saving One Horse at a time

With the support of our members and like-minded community, CEA is committed to saving troubled and rescued horses from slaughter, abuse and neglect. Our rehabilitation and retraining methods are based on restoring their trust in humankind and performance ability. Through traditional/classical training systems and the use of healing modalities such as massage and structural integration we are able to reform troubled and poorly trained horses into safe and well-adjusted companion and performance horses. When ready for rehoming, our horses are adopted out to qualified homes.

Our Vision: The vision of the Center for Equine Awareness (CEA) is to bring together an ever-expanding community of compassionate people to broaden knowledge, improve skills, and enhance the human/equine experience, recognizing that all beings deserve joy, love, knowledge, understanding, and respect.

Our Programs: The Center offers education classes, experiential learning, and equine retraining rescue for people who truly love and respect the horse. Through knowledge and community, our center helps expand awareness, mindfulness, and compassion in all equine pursuits.
