All About the Pawz is a small, dog shelter in Austintown, Ohio, run strictly by volunteers , established April 2017. We are 501c 3 non-profit status.The money that we raise from fundraising or private donations is mainly used to pay the vetting for our dogs including spay/neuter, HW meds, flea treatments, but also pays for dog food , our building expenses including rent and utilities, insurance and anything else needed to care for our dogs. We have the capability of housing 12 dogs at our building and also have foster homes and have used boarding facilities when needed . We generally assist our local pounds, Trumbull and Mahoning , and have also helped a number shelters and rescues throughout the country.We have taken in hundreds of dogs since 2017. We make sure the dogs receive the vet care that they need and also love, attention, daily exercise and socialization. At this time we have 25 volunteers. Our shelter has 3 shifts a day /seven days a week. 

AATP strives to place our dogs in loving, forever homes with people who understand that a pet is a family member. Every rescue we take on has already been abandoned once, and it's our goal to ensure that it never happens again.
