Akanimo Cancer Foundation is a newly established nonprofit in honor of our son, Akanimo ‘Nimo’. Our main focus is on supporting families going through the harrowing experience of childhood cancer treatment by first, linking them up with other families who have experienced same and can understand the anguish, pain and confusion of those early days, secondly, provide support for research into the rare cancers like DSRCT and help families financially through treatment and bereavement.
