Established in May 2016, ABC Foundation Ltd (ABCFL) operates in remote and regional areas of Australia, with key bases in the Pilbara, Gascoyne, and Mid-West regions of Western Australia, and has the capacity to operate nationally. As a majority Aboriginal-owned, member-based charitable social enterprise, ABCFL stands out for its commitment to achieving social and environmental benefits through progressive community partnerships that generate meaningful economic outcomes. This ensures that Aboriginal people lead the growth of a sustainable land and sea economy. ABCFL employs up to 30 staff and manages an additional 60 through regional partnerships, with access to a casual workforce pool of over 50 people. The Foundation is committed to maintaining a minimum of 55% Aboriginal employment. By providing impactful On-Country programs and services, ABCFL fosters strong corporate, capacity, and community partnerships that maximise  revenue opportunities while mitigating potential risks as the organisation grows ABCFL has expanded to include the ABC Trust, a Public Fund (Deductible Gift Recipient), and a Holdings Company to manage large commercial projects. ABCFL has also established a Future Fund to support strong financial governance and risk management principles through successful revenue management. Members, partners, and the community are invited to support ABCFL’s On-Country Impact through donations, contributing to the Foundation's ongoing success and sustainability.
