True Rescue operates out of Mt. Juliet, TN, with a 7,000 sq. ft. shelter dedicated to housing homeless cats and kittens in a communal environment, utilizing 15 different rooms.  While our main focus is on the cat/kitten crisis in the south, we do dedicate space for some dogs/puppies, and use foster homes. The number of animals under our care is rarely under 400 total animals, and we average 100 adoptions per month.  We are full circle, meaning we see the animals through intake, all the way to their forever homes, and everything in between.  Our shelter is a happy place where animals already feel they are in a home environment, and no animal is ever euthanized for space.  We currently are in the process of opening up a low-cost spay/neuter emergency vet clinic, for which there is a great need in our area.  Our team of dedicated staff members and volunteers strive to give the highest standard of care to our animals, as well as our adopters and fosters. We are not happy with just one location, because the need is too great, so our goal is to grow...always.
