Why does my donation go to PayPal Giving Fund?

PayPal Giving Fund (ABN 65 106 950 945) is a Public Ancillary Fund and charity registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission that makes online giving a part of everyday ecommerce activity. PayPal Giving Fund do this by enabling donors to support their favourite causes across a number of platforms, including MyGivingCircle. PayPal Giving Fund receives donations from users as charity of record on these platforms and provides the donation receipt to donors. PayPal Giving Fund provides a donation receipt for every donation, this is sent direct to each donor’s email.
