"We Need Your Help More Than Ever! ❤️🐾 For nearly two years, Delaney's Dog has been unable to access a generous charitable bequest intended to sustain our lifesaving rescue work. While those funds remain tied up in ongoing legal proceedings, we've continued doing everything possible to keep the dogs in our care fed, housed, and safe, stretching our already scarce resources to their limits. Among those depending on us are two very special senior dogs, **Benny and Kowalski**, whom our dear friend Jill Jacobson entrusted to our care. Benny was Jill's certified emotional support dog and devoted companion for 13 years, while Kowalski has been his lifelong pal. Together, they were a cherished part of Jill's life. Now, our beloved Kowalski needs medical attention. A mass previously believed to be a fatty tumor has continued to grow substantially, requiring veterinary evaluation and potentially further treatment. We've continued caring for both boys the very best we can, but with our limited resources devoted to feeding and housing the rescue dogs already in foster care, we simply haven't had the funds to provide Kowalski with the medical attention he needs. And through it all, Kowalski keeps waiting. These two senior boys have already lost the person who loved and cared for them for so many years. They deserve to spend their remaining years surrounded by love, security, and the medical care they need. Jill trusted us to look after her beloved companions, and we are determined to honor that promise. But we cannot do it alone. We need your help more than ever.
