Being in, on and around the water is a quintessential part of kiwi life. Whether we are out on the boat, catching waves at the beach or floating down the river, we love the water! However, this is coming at a cost with an unacceptably high preventable drowning rate! We all know that swimming lessons are the key to keeping our community safe in the water but access to aquatic facilities and financial barriers stop this from becoming a reality for about half of kiwi kids, especially in our rural communities!

Swim Kaipara Trust is looking to improve access to aquatic facilities and services for our Kaipara Community to help improve the physical and mental well being of our community members and teach vital learn to swim & water safety skills. 

We are trying to raise money to improve the Otamatea High School Pool and make it accessible as a community facility! To do this we need a Thermal Pool Cover (approx. $45,000) and Electric Heat Pumps (approx. $100,000). Please give us your vote and donate today 😊
