Victorian Dog Rescue & Resource Group - VicDRG - $2,000 Grant

Victorian Dog Rescue and Resource Group Inc (VicDRG) is a fully registered not for profit organisation whose purpose is to decrease the number of dogs killed in Victorian pounds and shelters each year.

Action for Dolphins - $1,000 Grant

Action for Dolphins is working to bring an end to dolphin hunting and captivity using a combination of strategic litigation and political activism.

Cat Haven WA - $1,000 Grant

Cat Haven WA take in and look after over 8,500 stray and unwanted cats every year. They work with the community and government to continually improve cat welfare and reduce the feral cat problem in WA.

Pound Patrol - $1,000 Grant

Pound Patrol is the voiceless for the voiceless animals that are in pounds being killed for no fault of their own. We rescue, rehabilitate and rehome. One by one till there are none.

Our Haven Wildlife Shelter Inc - $1,000 Grant

Our Haven Wildlife Shelter Inc. do the very best to raise local awareness and participate in Bunnings bbqs, give talks at local clubs and schools. We have tried putting donation tins around but very little comes from these. In Gippsland there is abundant wildlife and it is taken for granted.

Louisiana Bobcat Refuge - $2,000 Grant

Louisiana Bobcat Refuge hope to inspire and empower adults & children who face their own disabilities and daily challenges by sharing true rescue stories of bobcats, Lynx, disabled kitties and other rescued animals that touch the heart.

The Devoted Barn - $1,000 Grant

The Devoted Barn is an animal rescue, rehabilitation and adoption farm located on 54 acres. The barn has rescued animals from many different places such as Michigan, California, Florida, Oklahoma, Texas, Ohio and even Thailand.

Home Fur-Ever Rescue - $1,000 Grant

Home FurEver Animal Rescue rescues dogs and places them into homes where they will be cared for and loved as they deserve. The services we provide include spaying/neutering; providing medical treatment; and socializing abandoned, abused, neglected, and unwanted animals in order to prepare them for adoption in ‘furever homes.’

Freedom Farm Animal Sanctuary - $1,000

Freedom Farm Animal Sanctuary rescue farmed animals who have been neglected, abused, starved, or abandoned by providing them with food, shelter and medical care so that they can live the remainder of their lives free from pain and suffering.

Voice For The Needy - $1,000 Grant

“This is fantastic!  Thank you so much!   We will use our grant to spay 40 dogs and cats in Romania ♥️♥️♥️”

Lower Mainland Humane Society - $2,000 Grant

Lower Mainland Humane Society seeks to provide Health, Happiness, and Homes for mistreated or abandoned pets.

Cat Rescue Maritimes - $1,000 Grant

CARMA chapters face the particular challenges of working in rural and small-town environments in two of Canada’s poorest provinces: indifference to stray and feral cats, a high rate of pet cat abandonment, an ageing population, and failing farms (with cats and kittens left behind).

ElderDog Canada - $1,000 Grant

ElderDog exists to support senior-dog companionship and, during this period of increasing isolation, that support has never been more necessary.

Cat Advocates Teaching & Saving Society - $1,000 Grant

CATS is the only organisation rescuing cats that have been relocated & dumped in the remote wilderness. Feeding stations are set up & monitored with cameras & when cat activity is detected, traps are set to bring cats in from these harsh conditions.

Healing Animal SCARS - $1,000 Grant

Healing Animal SCARS specialises in the rescue and Rehabilitation of feral or Community cats. Since our Inception in May 2006, we have rescued over 1,700 cats and helped and shared Resources with many other rescue groups.

The New Zealand Anti-Vivisection Society (NZAVS) - $2,000 Grant

Thank you so much – this is such exciting news!  This Grant will help NZAVS:

* Raise public awareness of the scale of suffering of animals in research, testing and teaching
* Expose to the public a hidden, cruel and self-regulated industry with outdated systems and laws
* Educate the public about the scientific invalidity of animal-based research
* Support the community to adopt ethical and kinder, cruelty-free lifestyles
* Collaborate with and encourage industry stakeholders to create positive changes for animals and the advancement of medical science and human health.

Christchurch Bull Breed Rescue - $1,000 Grant

“Thank you so much! We’re stoked to have received a grant.
This money will go towards rehabilitation and enrichment tools for the dogs in our shelter. These types of toys and tools can be expensive –
especially for our boof-heads who can destroy most common things. This grant will allow us to purchase good quality long lasting items that will help multiple dogs as they come through the shelter.”

Husky Rescue NZ - $1,000 Grant

Husky Rescue NZ takes in surrendered or abandoned huskies, checks them out for health, suitability for re-homing, and arranges for them to be de-sexed and vaccinated, micro chipped. They are then cared for until they find a home.

The Swan Nest (The James Swan Charitable Trust Board) - $1,000 Grant

The Swan Nest provides free therapy, support & advocacy for children living with complex or life limiting medical conditions and their families.

New Zealand Chihuahua Rescue - $1,000 Grant

New Zealand Chihuahua Rescue (“NZCR”) is a registered Charitable Trust founded in 2017, after a need for a rescue dedicated specifically to the re-homing of Chihuahuas and Chihuahua crosses was identified.

Safe Haven Community - $2,000 Grant

Safe Haven Community helps women escape abusive relationships BEFORE they escalate to violent relationships.
We find the people with the spare rooms, and match them with people that need a safe place to stay.
Safety is a basic human right, and our community is responsible for providing that.

Black Dog Institute - $1,000 Grant

The Black Dog Institute is dedicated to understanding, preventing and treating mental illness. We are about creating a world where mental illness is treated with the same level of concern, immediacy and seriousness as physical illness; where scientists work to discover the causes of illness and new treatments, and where discoveries are immediately put into practice through health services, technology and community education.

Summer Camp Opportunities Promote Education (SCOPE) - $1,000 Grant

SCOPE was established for one simple reason, to provide summer camp opportunities to ALL children, regardless of socio-economic background. Children who receive SCOPE camperships gain access to attend overnight summer camp throughout the United States, free of cost to their family.

Medecins Sans Frontieres Australia Limited - $1,000 Grant

Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) translates to Doctors without Borders. We provide medical assistance to people affected by conflict, epidemics, disasters, or exclusion from healthcare.

First Light Widowed Association - $1,000 Grant

“Thank you so much we are delighted with this result.  This grant and donations are going towards our very first Camp Widow event. This life-affirming retreat will provide both useful tools and inspirational resources for widowed people from all walks of life. “
