We develop essential life skills in high school students in need, using running as a medium. Participants in our program train to complete a challenging but achievable goal event, which typically ranges from a 10km race to a half-marathon in distance. Along the way, they complete theory and mentoring sessions which develop goal-setting, commitment and resilience skills. They learn how to apply these skills to complete their goal race, but more importantly, to apply them beyond the context of running, to succeed in all areas of their lives!
