Pet Medical Crisis has been operating as a registered charity since 2010. Over that time we have helped to cover veterinarian costs for the most vulnerable members of the community. Pensioners and less abled pet owners are our primary focus. With mental illness being such a large problem in Australia and with growing rates of depression within our vet surgeries, we have been helping lessen the rates of unnecessary euthanasia for several years, which in turn has helped alleviate mental anguish of many owners, vets and their staff.
As a small operation, our founder funded the initial payments to the original applicants up until donations began to come in from the community. Over $450,000 has been donated to help the financial relief and to keep the crucial bond between animal and humans. PMC is now looking to grow and expand in order to make an even bigger difference in society. We aim to donate 100% of all publicly donated funds directly to help save lives of loving pets of all types.
PMC is fast approaching its 500th pet saved and we are excited about the future prospects of growth to assist pets, owners, vets and the community.
