Life’s Little Treasures Foundation is Australia’s foremost charity dedicated to providing comprehensive information and support to families with a premature or sick baby. We help give these children the best possible start in life and take care of the wellbeing of the whole family. Our mission is to ensure that no family endures the difficult and life-changing experience of having a premature or sick baby without easy access to critical information and support. We intimately understand the needs of parents and families and we are always there to guide them through their journey, from pregnancy and birth, through the hospital stay and transition home, into the early years of childhood and beyond. We bring together the expertise and guidance of leading health professionals, social workers, researchers and trained volunteers to reduce trauma and empower parents to make the best choices for their family. In doing so, we help reduce instances of mental health problems, alleviate financial hardship and lower the risk of relationship breakdown which these families are highly vulnerable to. Life's Little Treasures Foundation does not receive any government funding and relies on donations and fundraising to make our work possible.
