Australian Dingo Foundation Cover Photo
The Australian Dingo Foundation wants the world to respect and grasp the key role that our apex native predator plays in the equilibrium of our wild ecosystems, and how all biodiversity, and even farmers, can do better where dingoes are left unmolested. Rather than the "big bad wolf" that sheep graziers and extermination industries have historically portrayed, the dingo is in fact an amazing social and sentient species, now emerging via mounting piles of good science and understanding, as a very necessary part of a healthy eco-system. ADF is about conserving, preserving fast disappearing eastern seaboard genetic material in its original form, gathering data on all three dingo eco-types and facilitating non invasive research so we can understand and therefore instill public will to join the call for eradication to cease and conservation to flourish. Education and live experience for our visitors and all the ways we can possibly externally display our tamed ambassador dingoes, along with providing the best possible life in captivity for the world's largest collection of DNA tested pure and intact dingoes at the Dingo Discovery Sanctuary and Research Centre, is our chosen way forward.
