Animal Liberation Victoria (ALV) was founded in 1978 to abolish all animal exploitation. For over 40 years they have been striving to achieve justice and respect for all animals. ALV educates the public about cruelty free living with vegan outreach programs, vigils, movie screenings, stalls at events, and demonstrations. Embracing the principle of non-violence, ALV rescue teams openly investigate animal factories to rescue sick and injured animals and to document the cruel conditions hidden from the public. These ‘open rescues’ are based on the moral premise that it is wrong to knowingly let any individual, regardless of their species, suffer unnecessarily. ALV also provides a home to many rescued animals at the Liberation Sanctuary, where they live free from suffering and fear. With the help of volunteers and donations these animals are given the love, freedom, and full lives that they deserve. The Vegan Easy campaign provides up to date online resources covering everything from recipes, eating out guides, nutrition and health information, even support for vegan parents and raising vegan children. Everyone is encouraged to join the free Vegan Easy 30 Day challenge and live a more compassionate, healthy and eco-friendly life: www.veganeasy.org ALV is an independent not-for-profit organisation and receives no government funding. Their life-saving work is only made possible thanks to generous donations from supporters and the public. www.alv.org.au
