The Cancer Society is the lead NGO dedicated to
reducing the impact and incidence of cancer and
advocating for the best cancer care for everyone in
our New Zealand. Our mission is improving
community wellbeing by reducing the incidence and
impact of cancer. We are committed to working with
our communities by providing leadership and
advocacy in cancer control via our core services of
Support, Health Promotion, Information, and
Resources.
Every day, over 70 New Zealanders hear the words "you
have cancer" and those that are given that diagnosis have access to our wonderful teams and facilities. Our centres are welcoming, inclusive and make a difference to those with cancer and their whanau. Having cancer is hard, but finding help shouldn't be.
