The B.A.R.N. is a 501(c)3 non-profit located in Plymouth, Ca., with the mission of rescuing and saving all tails and feathers “One Tail at a Time”. We are both a rescue and sanctuary for slaughter bound horses/donkeys, injured off the track thoroughbreds and local animals (horses, donkeys, pigs, turkeys, cats, llamas, alpacas, cows and more) in need. 

We ask for help with food as it’s an expensive endeavor each day to support, until these animals find their forever homes. Additionally, it helps the critters that will live out their days here on sanctuary as they are less adoptable due to medical issues and/or age.
